My First 3 Weeks In The Philippines

If I were to sum up my past month in one word, I’d have to follow in the words of Matthew McConaughey in the movie Dazed and Confused, “L-I-V-I-N”.

I’m sure I don’t have to say it, but Manila is completely different from Los Angeles. Most of my luxuries that I’ve grown accustomed to are now out the door! Even as I write this, my ego is screaming, “you idiot, what have you done?” However, in my heart, I know adventure is what I need.

I just can’t trade in the feeling of excitement, the smell of foreign air, constant problem solving and childlike discovery for anything in the world! I CRAVE this stuff. My higher self tells me that I am in the right place, at the right time of my life.

So I am creating these updates to keep you with me as I journey South East Asia. The videos will get better. I promise.

One last thing…

Between the time I made this video and posting it on my blog, Manila was hit with its first Typhoon of the season and wiping out electricity for 24 hours. Thank goodness for generators.

Hi Beth,

Thanks for your message. I’ll be visiting Palawan in November. Hopefully the rain will have subsided by then. In case you haven’t checked, I am documenting the entire journey at http://ourbalikbayanbox.com. Check it out. Let me know what you think.

Hope to hear from you soon Beth. Looking forward to our sessions.

that’s cool if you can document your visit in the Phil. We have varied awesone sites from Luzon to Davao–nature trip, good beach, mountain to climb, deep sea diving, etc. We seem to have almost everything, except disneyland. There are so much to see that you can stay here a whole year to visit the key popular sites.

I highly recommend that you see Palawan–Nido beach, and the famous cave. There is a place there that at certain month of the year (January is the best month) that different species of birds fly over every 5pm–hundreds of different types. I hv not seen this but somebody from there told me so. I have been there coz i have some downlines there.

To update you. i will be in Manila sept -12. I will have better communication facility there. I am now in the process of preparing my blog, improve my facebooks and other social media sites. Then will show you for evaluation.

Enjoy Phiippines….Beth Mijares

Thanks Beth,

I’m enjoying Manila very much. I see a bright future for the MLM’ers out here. That’s for sure!

hi Angelito,

Welcome to the Philippines. I did not know that some products are more expensive here that the USA (maybe because of shipment cost). I was in Manila during that storm.

What a coincidence, i was writing to Mr. J. Budd that he should come to Asia and maybe hold same activity as that they are holding in San Diego this Aug. Its good that you moved to Makati. It is the center of business in the Philippines.

I am one of the new students and I am in the Philippines (I told this to Mr. Budd). Maybe, if you can find time, you can come our meetings. We still do a lot of the “good old ways” of doing MLM here. However, I shall be starting to apply what I have learned and will be learning from the MLM Launch. I am not a computer savvy though–I just know how to send emai but this will not deter me taking that plunge in same manner that the “New Wave of Successful MLM” are doing now.
Have a grand time here in the Philippines…..

Beth

Angelito,

I just got your email and I had to come check out your video. I envy you living your dream. I read somewhere never to make a living, instead make a life and that Is what you are doing.

Someday :)

Look Forward to seeing your next video.

$5 a massage! I’m there!
Not sure about $4 for “that” haircut though – LOL (jk)
and who needs steak when you’ve got seafood – seriously bonzai, it’s sounding very appealing to come for a visit. (plus you gotta take me to that remote white sand beach island).
