A few weeks ago I created my first Facebook Fan Page (a bit behind I know) and wondered why no one was ablt to view it without being logged into Facebook.
I just thought it was a bummer and didn’t investigate further. Flash forward a couple weeks later to today that I accidentally discovered the problem.
When I was setting up my page, I set the security restrictions to “viewable to users 18+”. I unknowingly locked myself out of the worlds view by doing this. So, if you’re wondering why your Facebook Fan page isn’t showing up when you’re logged out, or people can’t view your page when logged out, then you might want to check your settings.
Here’s what you need to do to fix it…
Step 1: Log into your Facebook and go to your Fan Page settings

Step 2. Find the SETTINGS button and click Edit.

Step 3. Change the age restriction to its default (Anyone 13+)

And VOILA! Type in your Facebook Fanpage url into the address bar and you should be able to see it. Now don’t do what I did and waste 2 weeks. Go promote youeself!

Thanks man! Appreciate it. We were going crazy at work trying to figure this out.
Angelito thanks for the tip – I was just looking for a solution to why my pages weren’t showing up while not logged into fb. instant fix.
I did that . But still my page is not visible. Is it visible only if I have a unique facebook page Url . Like facebook.com/myurl , instead of the now facebook.com/pages/url ?
How to make it public and published ?
